About Me
Jenn
ifer Tripi has studied piano since the age of five. She has been drawn to teaching almost as long as she has been playing. She greatly enjoys sharing with students both the excitement and challenges that piano brings.
Jennifer recently graduated with her Masters degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma, where she also taught both group and private piano. She currently teaches elementary and middle school students at the Fine Arts Academy at First Baptist Church in Norman. Beginning her teaching career in the small town of Rome, Georgia, Jennifer received Bachelor’s degrees in both Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Shorter College.
Jennifer serves as the accompanist at Bridgeview United Methodist Church in Norman. She also does freelance accompanying at the University of Oklahoma and surrounding area. Jennifer enjoys both studying and performing music, but has chosen to focus on teaching – her true passion!
